This April, Wise Choice Alternatives, an ACCI Affiliate will be attending the Arizona Courts Association Conference! The ACA attracts court personnel from across the state who are looking to better the legal system. The president of WCA will also be a speaker there!

The Licking County Sheriff’s Office is making moves to provide evidence-based programming to enhance their reentry efforts and outcomes. This training will empower the programming staff at the jail to use ACCI’s CBT Lifeskills Courses to engage with their incarcerated population and facilitate cognitive-behavioral change. The jail programming staff have identified a need for effective parenting programming and will be addressing this topic and others with this program in place.

The programming staff at Core Civic-Cibola have been using the ACCI self-directed CBT courses since 2022. They have now made the transition to a License To Reprint as they look to expand the use of their programming efforts. The staff are well trained and supported and are excited to have access to this program as they continue to drive evidence-based programming and better prepare their population for reentry.

We recently completed an implementation training with The Hopi Foundation. The session covered key strategies for effectively using the ACCI Lifeskills platform, addressing participant questions and ensuring a smooth integration into their programs.

ACCI is excited to add Justice and Mercy For Life Change as an ACCI Affiliate. Located in Chicago, IL, they are a grassroots community-based provider that is ready to integrate evidence-based programming into their existing programs and services. This training will fully onboard the Justice & Mercy team to the Lifeskills Link platform and provide essential program fidelity requirements.

Recently, Wise Choice Alternatives, an ACCI Affiliate, attended the Mohave County Cojet Conference! Where their president, Bill Sutton Jr. spoke!

GEO Reentry operates several reentry programs known as: Connection and Intervention Stations (CIS) throughout the state of Idaho. GEO Reentry brings a strong focus on rehabilitation and utilizes a robust set of evidence-based programs and resources. One of the programs is our Lifeskills Link Program which helps participants overcome their self-defeating thoughts and behaviors.

ACCI is integrating with Socrates 360  to provide our eLearning CBT Lifeskills courses to the individuals located at the Community Release Center in Panama City, FL. Participants in this program are re-entering society and are actively building relationships in the community and securing employment. ACCI’s CBT Lifeskills courses will be used to develop pro-social thinking skills and behaviors that will assist them in their reentry efforts.

Ramsey County recently acquired a 5 Course License to reprint our Restorative Practices curriculum, allowing them to implement these courses across various departments. This license provides Ramsey County with a versatile toolkit for addressing behavioral issues, fostering accountability, and promoting healing and connection within their community.
